Our mission at Teachers4Tutors is to provide high quality, convenient, effective and affordable tutoring services for families in St. Charles County. To this end, we offer:

• Qualified, Certified Tutors

  Every tutor at Teachers4Tutors is a state certified teacher and a degreed professional with a passion for teaching. Our tutors have classroom experience and in most cases are currently teaching.

• Affordable Rates

  Teachers 4 Tutors currently offers one of the most affordable one-on-one tutoring fee schedules available in the area. Our clients are billed monthly and no long-term contract is required; our tutoring agreement can be cancelled at any time with only a two-week notice. We also have a low, one-hour-per-week minimum instruction requirement.

• In-Home Instruction

  By tutoring in the student's home, Teachers 4 Tutors allows students to avoid the competitive atmosphere and stigma usually associated with a traditional tutoring center. Students receive a true one-on-one teaching experience and their parents save valuable time and money. Moreover, students learn in an environment in which they feel comfortable and safe.

  We will work with you to establish a schedule that is convenient for your family. We have tutors available weekdays, weeknights and weekends, and summer instruction is available as well.

• An Individualized Approach

  From testing to instruction, our approach to a student's education is completely individualized. Unlike other tutoring facilities that use a standard test for all students of all ages, our testing approach takes into account your child's grade level, class schedule and goals. This enables us to narrow down more accurately those areas in which the student needs reinforcement.

  Likewise, unless specifically requested to do otherwise, we will focus on homework help and supplemental instruction of the content being studied in the student's classroom(s) rather than introduce an independent standardized curriculum. This prevents the student from becoming confused as he or she attempts to learn two different approaches to a subject area at the same time.

• Parent and Teacher Communication

  Our tutors will not only communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, but will also maintain bi-monthly contact with the child's classroom teacher(s). This practice allows us to be a second line of defense against missing work, and to further individualize the instruction we provide to supplement what is being taught in the classroom.
